Calling Track Guys
most guys that I know (including what I have run) is the 245/18 Hoosiers on the front
(on stock 996TT wheels). Worked fine, only rubbed at full lock (like in a parking lot).
Good luck,

Do you know of a compressor out hose for left side that will allow me to clock my unit a little bit more than stock hose will allow? I tried one after-market hose that was supposed to be longer but the configuration wouldn't allow any further clocking.
As you may have read in an earlier post on this thread, the 12.5 wheel is giving me a lot of trouble with tire clearance.
I have been having the same problem. Really aggravating to have the tires go out of balance early in the weekend. My rear tires were moving a lot under acceleration, even with low boost (now 1.1) and the fronts were moving under braking. I had the tires removed from the wheels and dimpled the lateral (vertical) bead area every 2 inches with a center punch. Re-mounted with minimum paste and then they supposedly wiped it off before final inflation. Rear tires moved again first time it was boosted in 2nd gear on the street after waiting a week.
I took everything to another company that said they could solve the problem. They cleaned up the bead area and dimpled the barrel of the wheel in the bead area in addition to what I had already done on the other bead surface. They used a small amount of Murphy's oil soap to mount and put some kind of sticky substance either on the tire or the wheel, don't remember which.
Haven't had the car out since that time but have an event this weekend and will report next week on movement or lack thereof.
9 or 9.5 (if you have the PERFECT offset and smaller springs like the JICs or Motons). With these 9"s, 265s are fine. Some 275s do fit a 9" (like the Hoosier) but it is at the end of the range for fitment (9"-11"). I usually do not like the end of the range either high or low, and the specs that Hoosier uses for tread width, section width, etc is all based on being mounted with a 9.5" rim with the 275.
