CJV - you read way to much into that email. I said "EVO Tial Hybrid things" as I dont know if they are hybrid like a K24/18G or a full made turbo, or they use stock housings or what. Truth be told, they are not actual Garrett GT2860rs turbos though.

yes now we are getting into technicalities for no reason. the center cartridge is a Garrett GT28 correct? but the compressor and exhaust side was cast or modified from the actual Porsche housing so you could retain the factory header and exhaust mount right? Difference is we provide upgraded parts so you can modular use a GT28, GT30, or other Garrett based turbo. Not knocking the Tial EVO turbos, pointing out the differences. This is not what this thread was started for...

Kind of off optic, but has anyone tried fitting dual PTE67-P DBB Turbos on the 996TT setup, alot of the supra guys run them in there single setup. Each turbo is rated at 700hp; any thoughts?

Well ........... slow to say the least. The last parts holding up assembly was the 12 mm head studs and the related machining. This was completed and the motor is currently being assembled. This should be completed in a couple of weeks but we still have the fuel, headers, wastegates, turbo's, MAF and tuning. The good news is we have all these parts in our possession.

New center catridge and check valve have been replaced, now is there a break in period for the turbo to run in before I pedal to metal it?

turbos DO NOT HAVE SEALS the problem could be: too much oil pressure in that bank, positive crank case pressure, poor return line/pump.

the turbo blowing oil out will NOT hurt the turbo.

Hi guys, another sad day. My car is puffing blue smoke again, it is still the same side of the turbo that I had problems earlier, I had new replacement check valve, rebuilt center catridge that was swap in. This is how I observed, I let the car idle for about 30 minutes, the car was not smoking may be in the first 20 minutes after that smoke began to puff out slowly and steadily from the right side of the exhaust. After I have taken the car back from the shop, I have not boosted it over 3000 rpm and in fact I was really taking it easy as I was worry not enough break in time will blow whatever that caused the laekage of oil.

Please keep in mind, this is only on the right side of the turbo.

When I have a new check valve and center catridge replaced, does that mean the turbo is basically brand new and there is no other parts that could have gone south or there could be other possibilities..

Marski, there is no leak underneath the car at all. I check all over the car underneath, there is no sign of oil leaks at all. What could it be
