Bar reading
Hey guys, as some of you might have read, I had problems with my turbo two weeks after ownership. It was a boost leak with one of the hoses cracked. Anyway. the dealer thought it was the DV's so I bought the Baileys, and installed them. Now two weeks later, I could only get .7 bar (factory DV) from the readout, but now the car is getting .8 in 1st-3rd gear and .9 bar in 4th gear and 5th gear., and .8 again in 6th gear. Does this seem normal? The car has not been chipped, and so far is stock except for the Baileys. I am adding an x50 exhaust that I bought from a board member. I guess my question is if I add Upsolute, could I possibly get 1.1-1.2 bar? Would I notice a difference in power between .8-.9 to whatever the Upsolute would give me? Thanks again everyone.
I went from getting .9 to 1.2 when I chipped the car and the difference is HUGE. There's no doubt in your mind that the car isn't significantly changed. But for your own edification, you might want to dyno before and after if you decide to chip the car

2. At 1.1-1.2 bar, you will notice a significant difference in power.
3. If you are reprogramming the ECU, I would go with an after-market high-flow exhaust as opposed to the x50 exhaust. I suspect the Upsolute program is intended for a high flow exhaust.

M3CAB, I did the upsolute and getting now 0.9 -1.2, occ 1.3 and it is a BIG difference is how the car takes off with accelaration. Now, only if I could settle in my mind which exhaust to get!! Drove a friend's TT with EP II quiet and it's pretty awesome with no drone/resonance in my opinion.
