all internals are stock including studs. nothing has been done within the motor to control head lift at the higher boost levels, just a safe tuning strategy.

most people don't appreciate the stock "overbuilt" car that the porsche turbo's really are. notice that C16 is being used for these tests. what blows motors more than anything is too much boost on pump gas. that's the world we all live in. you run C16 and you can run a ton of boost on stock 996TT's as well, but the 997 does apparently tolerate more stress on the bottom end. we've seen 700WHP on stock 996 internals as well, but it's only with C16. cars would detonate (and shake themselves to pieces) on lesser fuels. it's why most guys do the massive rods and big studs for the 996TT builds. you can experience more detonation in the search for higher horsepower and on lower grade fuel. the 997 is truly an "8th Wonder" given the extra punishment that the stock motor will take. funny though.... you're a hero until you need to stop for gas! 92 octane seems to place a 150WHP "spread top" on the hp you can get on stock internals. 700WHP on C16 and around 550WHP on the pump.

I've been at the track, not doing street 60-130 pulls besides I don't have a drift box. If someone can lend me theirs i'll def. get some runs up... Although I did just run an R1 and pass an M6 that was running my friends LP560 and etc from 10+ cars back at 185+ like a freight train (Member "Slavik" here on the 6 was in car)... These videos are running around on exoticsrally.com, and so on

Glad to hear.
yes.....those nights were impressive... esp that night into the hamptons with the m6 and lp..... if you ask the M6 owner he will also justify and acknowledge it...... i agree with people going for the bragging rights of having the most power... but they hardly ever use it....

Thumbs up

See I like this curve a lot. There isn't a considerable amount of TQ which will break things on this car. Obviously Tym is not setting a huge preload with the boost controller in order to make gobs of torque which lift these heads. The curve looks that of a 42r stroked Evo. Kudos Tym! Cant wait to get my machine over to you for a sick tuning workout. DK your car is an animal. Want to race my evo? LOL (Soon to be my pcar) Well go do some friendly pulls form a dig when i get out there.... Hey any way you guys will be at the DSM shootout this weekend at Buschur's? let me know Im 'of dragin' my Wife with me.

Yes, I should be in Fort Benning sometime this week, then back to H town! I am so happy you can not believe! It is 134 in Kuwait, I think it should feel very cool back in the states.
Have a boosted day
