Stop Tech Brake Installation

Can't comment about track performance yet but here are some install shots.

You can see the rotors are about 1" bigger. Brkae pads are a little smaller which is not good but the main front pistons are smaller (rears are the same) so this pushes some brake bias back toward the rear and should result in better stopping. Slotted should hold up better than drilled.

You can see all the grooving (also cracking) after just a few sessions on the track (pagid black pads). The grooving tends to be much worse with drilled rather than slotted. You can also see my Moton's in the back.

Here are the Stop Techs.

I'll have a report once I get on the track.

These look good. Are you using Pagid blacks on these as well?

They are excellent for the track, I ran them for 2 events and I sense a vast improvement over the stock brakes.

Tim,
I am looking forward to your review. I do have another question though. WHat is the silver sleeve under the spring seat with the red marks??

Thanks. Any chance of a better photo of them with the drop links attached?? Maybe from below?? Very interested.

Why didn't you connect the drop link to the wheel carrier cinch bolt?? Oh, that's right, you are still using the stock front bar and drop links. Right?

Sure Ken. I'll try to get them tonight. Yes, I am currently running stock front bar but intend to change to the GT-2 adj. front as well.
