Trying to figure out which blue I saw on a 996 TT

One night about 6-12 months ago I saw an awesome met. blue 996 TT at my local Walmart. It was not a very dark blue as it was night time and still looked very blue not even close to black. It really seemed very close to the spectra blue mica color found on some Lexus models (like my GS400). Anybody know which blue this may have been? Normally blue cars pictured on the net are actually lighter in person than they appear on the screen. This makes me think that it wasn't cobalt blue which does come across pretty light on the net. Anybody got a guess?

You are correct when you say that blues usually look darker 'on camera'.for that reason it would probably not have been midnight blue (BTW,my favorite colour!),but check out Lapis blue.It kinda looks a few shades lighter, and has a more silvery base.Talking of pics, try getting an accurate representation of speed yellow!!It usually turns out aneamic looking,or if you play around with the camera a little it comes out orange.Very frustrating!

May have been Cobalt or Iris. Both are stunning blues, lighter than Lapis or Midnight. Iris has a bit more purple in it, Cobalt is gorgeous medium blue metallic.
