EXPERTS!! Need help troubleshooting Power Steering..

Soo...Im my quest of bringing the 02 Turbo to life....I stumbled upon this obstacle.

I bought the car with a little bit of front end damage...The steering rack was cracked off it's mounts so I replaced it with a new/remanufactured unit.

Now I thought that replacing the rack and bleeding the system as per instructions would solve this problem as it was happpening before I changd the rack but it is still the same.

The problem is that the power steering pump/unit makes a noise like it is grinding rocks...It's loud as hell... It starts to make the noise about 3 minutes after I start the car when it's cold and the pump itself gets super hot. It also feels like the car has no power steering as the wheel is hard to turn.

I tried bleeding it as per repair manual, but once it warms up it is spitting fluid from under the cap all over the place so I really dont think that it is an issue.

Am I missing someting? What are the steps to troubleshoot the system? Do i need to replace the pump? What is that nipple/port for by the filler neck?

Thanks for all your help.

Edit-

Forgot to mention that the whine quiets down over 2000rpm, other symptoms remain.

I want to make sure that both the pump and the reserrvoir need replacing as both are about $600 each. Also, does anyone have a DIY on replacing these omponents?

Some here can definitely help you. Is the power steering fluid Pentosin?

If so, it's very flammable. Be careful as "spitting" everywhere will start an engine fire.

Here's two videos showing what happens.

It's really lower pitched than it sounds on the crappy cellphone video.

Disapointed in you guys... I even provided VIP video footage.

Well I ordered a used PS pump and reservoir today. Hopefully it will fix my problems. Anyone got instructions or a DIY on how to swap this? Any experiance? I have the shop repair pdf manual but it tells me nothing about replacing a PS pump.

I did find that link before But I appreciate your help. However I was looking for a bit more insight into the subject and it seems like it's more of a pump problem than the reservoir.
