Picture Thread - BayArea Porsche Track Day
SubscribeAlex, you probably went flat footed the whole way in that tip

My choices were:
T1 - 3
T5 - 3
T8 - 3 or 4
T9 - 4
T10 - 3
T11-13 - 2
Problem for me is before I get to exit point on T13 I'm redlining in 2nd and I want to shift into 3rd. My instructor says don't shift in corners. So I just hold at redline for a bit longer before I upshift.
I wonder if the chipped TT's or GT2/GT3's have the same powerband problem in those corners (T12-T13).

How did you/he get such quality pics? When all the other pics are amateur, these look downright 100% professional!!! How is that possible? Looks like he was driving along ... or is it some late photoshoppin'?Originally posted by icerbofh

Where did you get that tire stripe? I have a vynil plotter and would LOVE to have that on my car ... it looks awesome! Is it a custom made vectorized image? Or one you could download from somewhere? Real neat.Originally posted by CAP

I got it directly from TechArt. They had to contact Continental direclty as they owned the art work. It took about 7 weeks to get it. I wouldn't get it if I were you as they put in on a material that createds lots of air bubbles. Akkurat took an entire day putting it on and removing all the bubbles. Akkurat is in the process of making a custom design to sell. Call George at Akkurat. 650-381-0000
thanks
thanks
Pete posts a lot on www.funcarsonline.com . You can try there. He has always taken amazing photos. Really talented. Also I wanted to bum a ride off of him on the track since he's a really good driver.
he was one of the drivers at the event as well ? Did anyone else read the 'copyright' notices on the GotBlueMilk CD ? Says something about only using it on your personal home computer, personal home printer, etc..etc...etc. WTH ?

ARGH!!! We just found out a hose came loose and in turn I lost some power. We put a new hose on today and MAN! the car feels so much better than it did on track day. CRAP! I'll be even faster next time...instead of a 180 I'll be able to go all the way around 360 BABY!
