Boost Question when shifting.....
i dont know. from everyone i talked to, 7K seemed to be the standard on tunes even without requests.
I just made a doctors, dentist, and proctologist appointment.... haha,
I am not running a LWFW, I have a stage III kevlar clutch with the dual mass. I never checked my boost fall off since I owned the car; however, the other day I was running a done up E55 Benz which I was able to pull on but I felt that when I shifted he made up to much ground for comfort. I dont know if it was just the auto tranny vs manual or if I was loosing to much boost between shifts due to using a BOV which vents opposed to diverters which circulate.....so I am curious if I am seeing the same numbers as the other guys, the only other thing I can do is adjust the valve to recirculate and see if it makes a difference.

You probably have seen the kid around, black Z06, claims he has just a tune and intake meanwhile we found out he's running 125 shot of nitrous , yea I pulled him
I don't believe that is necessarily true. My custom tune from EPL does NOT go to 7k, He asked and I said no. I am out of turbo by 4500-5000rpm, so why rev to the moon? I think if you ask your tuner, whoever that may be, they can give you a redline you want. If you have K24's and got a K24 tune, it's likely you have an extended redline because the turbo makes power all the way up. Just my 2 cents.

I am dynoing this week to see the power curve of my car!

Just curious cause I'm running K24's and didn't notice it drop off until I shift around 6800 around where the drop off is. Gonna go look at my dyno sheet again.
Was this to me? Just wondering... What's funny is, I felt a dropoff with my stock K16 turbos when revving to 7k on my ex turbo. But getting up there in the GT2 makes the car get very scary/hairy... Instructors this year on the track preferred 6k shifting and no more, because as I said it pulls hard to redline.

I see him everywhere....... never knew what he had but obvious he had something... I thought he maybe had a head and cam package with a tune, but 125 shot? nice..... I heard your car runs real strong too!!
You're right....I just went thru this with my tune....I had to inquire about the shift points and commented that I was hitting the limiter in first too quickly..... and the tuner asked me if I wanted to up the rev limiter....I said no and am leaving it at the stock setting. So I don't think they just arbitrarily set up the limiter without discussing it first.
Wanna meet up tomorrow in the AM? Going out with tons of people, going to be so nice out too, call me man!
