O2 Sensor bung thread size and placement

Is it okay to place the first set of 02 sensors just after the exhaust flange? or does there need to be some space between?

Where should the second set of sensors go(how far behind cat)?

What is the thread size of the bungs and O2 sensor(M18 x 1.5)?

Thanks or the help.

RarelyL8 is the man for that answer (no intention of slighting other knowledgeable folks on this forum). He just did up an exhaust system for me and installed the bungs. He recommends the install be made right after the muffler as the pipe goes towards the outlet...more towards the top of the muffler pipe up out of the way but leave youself room to screw in the sensor. I dont' recall the bung size, but it's a standard fitting for the 02 sensor and is stainless and costs around $7 and includes a bung plug with an allen head on it. I bought one on eBay sometime back....they also come with the LM-1 kit or can be ordered separately by the folks who sell those kits or exhaust systems in general.

Yes, the first set can go immed after the turbo, as long as they are before the cat. The second set can go anywhere after the cat but not too close to the open tailpipe (you do not want any atmospheric air to mix). O2 sensors use a universal bung...I'm not sure of the thread but it doesn't matter...if it is an O2 sensor bung it will work.
