Will Evoms clubsport intercoolers fit a 996tt?

A friend just pulled his evoms ic's clubsport with less than 500 miles off his 997tt and has offered them to me for my 996tt. Does anyone know if they are the same size for both the 997tt/996tt? Thanks.

You want/need them! They are perfect for your set up. I am generally not a big fan of EVO but their IC's are excellent.

Sean, you holding up ok in H-town? I can picture it now you in your home in the middle of Ike and your on the 6. My prayers are with you and everyone else. On another note, my buddy will give me a very good deal, question is will they go with my car or does evoms make a different one for the 996tt. Both Todd and Tym from what I got said that at my level of pwr it would be nice but not necessary. Tym suggested for the marginal difference b/t the stock ic vs. clubsport or gt2 ic that I should save up and get the full proto air intake and custom huge ic's. Switzer said that would be where I would see the cost benifit. You and Paulie and the rest of the h-town crew take care out there! I hope to be up for a meet sometime soon when it gets to 50 degrees or cooler

Tom

Tom,

If you can post some pics, I can compare them to the 996 Clubsport IC's I have sitting in my basement.

Be sure and take a few pics so I can see where the brackets are.

I have heard that the 997TT IC's are the same as the 996 GT2 IC's, but I can't confirm this.

The core may be the same but the connections are different, need a bit of custom fitting.

Tom,

My family made it through just fine. These IC's are way better that stock GT2 (I have compared them) and a step down from Todds custom built ones, but you do not need those. They are perfect for your set up and provide way more cooling than stock.
