I bought a FS Gen 3 in April. I was very satisfied with the build, appearance, power, and sound. However, I would get a CEL about every 2-4 days for cat efficiency below threshold (or something close to that) both right and left.

I contacted Jeremy at Fabspeed and let him know of the problem. He immediately over-nighted two new cats. I installed them two weeks ago and have seen no more CELs. Jeremy is a pleasure to deal with and is very well informed on our cars.

 

it will interesting to see what results you get with the new cats. they had some cat failures on caymans, but that was the cat just downstream of the header which is subjected to a lot of heat. if there is room, O2 sensor spacers may help you on the sensor after the cat. they basically shroud the sensor so it is exposed to less exhaust gas, so it thinks you cat is doin a bang-up job of cleansing the exhaust. about $20.

 

20$, where? The best price I ever saw was 100$ from FVD. Good idea though.
