am thinking i overfilled my car(oil). can't be by much as i never just throw a quart in .it's almost table spoons at a time.....any thoughts ? am getting smoke at start up more that ever before. i know thats the norm (3rd p car)but could it be the slight overfill?

 

Dont worry about it... My wrench overfilled mine more than once until I said something to him about it. I have never had any problems or leaks.

A friend of mine with a N/A 911 cab had his rear main seal start leaking after the same wrench overfilled his car. But non-turbo 911s are known to have weak rear main seal problem that the turbos dont have.

 

thanks oil level is cool now and extra smoke is gone
