2 possibilities:

A) You heard a rumor and wanted to see if it was true.
B) You are making up this rumor to stir the pot.

We need to chill... As far as the tuning, just people talking ****!! My car had a slight set back with one piston ( wasn't properly machined ) that touched the valves.THE ENGINE WAS NEVER STARTED! So the heads & pistons went back to get redone & checked for clearances...the parts are back & the engine will be back together soon.. I hope ... The wait is taking it's toll ...KPG's car is running fine...I'll let him tell you guy's, when he's ready!! When you guy's go for a build on these car's make sure you have a second car to play with...

For the record, any advice or warning Kevin had given to me has turned out to be correct...good and bad. I have a lot of faith in his judgment about these cars and what the car can and cannot/should not do.... he has refused to let me do anything halfway to complete even if it would cost him a lot of potential business.

He is a brilliant engineer. My 2c. Because of that, I plan to put my future decisions as they come up in his court for review. It has been worth every single little penny. And, I work darned hard for every one. If you wondered, I have multiple doctorate level degrees and I know bs from not. He is not bs. I use his stuff. I can go anywhere I want. He and I don't have some weird relationship and I don't consider myself some sort of cult member like some on this forum seem to suggest of tuner customers. I think for myself. He sometimes doesn't say want I want him to say.... This is not meant for any discount from him. I cannot use the power he makes on track...I am not good enough at driving yet. Period. I seek no gain from this post ever. I have a Switzer exhaust and Dan's JIC suspension system with AP parts....three vendors. I've had good luck with each within each product's domain. On my short list are a few others.

I'd prefer if discussion on this forum could be maintained at a high level. By everyone.

Oh, everyone will have bad days. Bad designs, bad whatever. Lets not just beat each other up. It is such a waste of time and energy. I am sorry for anyone having a bad build or time taken...but things happen. These are "just" cars. Look at a happy, healthy child and realize that "that" is important. Nothing on these boards is 1% as much.

kevin tuned my car up with a fantastic 736fwhp! i have no complaints...except that i cant buy 114 race gas at my local stations!

 

reason i snap on this guy is because he's always talking a bunch of crap about other tuners, and he's talking about this super project 996 turbo that will take 10 years to complete

look at most of his posts... always bashing people's cars. always trying to stir things up with tuners.
you arent a car guy, youre like a mix between jerry springer and ricki lake.

i recommend RPM to everyone. why ? because they know their stuff, and they get it done in a timely matter
unlike the places you go to/ claim to go to, my car is done when its suppose to be done

And so what is Kevin used a tunere from MRC or not why is that an insult Business is business if at th eend of the day the tune rocks then so be it. It leaves his shop its a UMW tune. Softronic repackages Proto tunes yet they are still proto tunes thats just the way **** goes. Oh and yeah I did get my high school degree and my college one for that matter, dont even pull this into a hole you cant chew.
