That wrench looks to me like a spanner wrench. It is what is used to adjust large nuts on things like suspensions etc. I used to have one in my Formula B days. It was used to run the spring platform up and down the shock body to adjust ride height. It is probably metric but there are adjustable spanners around as well....

Britt,
I just got my Strosek wing from Eric and it looks great! Me and Rolo fooled with the install using a pin/ and strap wrench tecnique and believe me don't bother. We are all going to need the tool or have the dealer swap it. I am probably going to calll around mon and get one on the way. Hope your install goes smoothly. Your car is going to look sick with the new wing!

Don't forget to get a 14MM allen wrench so you can take the mounting points out of your stck wing. Porsche uses a loctite type stuff to hold it in so you will have to put some a$$ behind it to break it loose.
I now do realize this thread is a year old. However many of us just ordered wings through Eric on a group buy and all of us will be needing the spanner wrench/tool and a 14mil allen wrench. I have had trouble finding an allen wrench or allen socket this large. Any one have any suggestions as to where to get one. Sears, Home Depot and Lowes, Auto zone and Advanced Auto, none of these places has the allen wrench or allen socket.
Go to dealer. Mine let me take it home and bring it back the next day. I looked at Lowes and a couple of hardware stores. Don't waste your time. You need this exact tool or one very close to it in size.
Having just been through this when I had to install Eric's wing, I have some advice.
You must get the 14mm Allen socket. A massive amount of force is required to the extent that on my car, I was worried about breaking the wing. You will need a longish extension handle to get the purchase. Forget about trying to fudge it without the right socket.
The spanner wrench is cheap and handy to own in case you ever want to go back to the old wing.
Use lots of loctite on the new wing.

My buddy just found a set of allen sockets at Auto Zone for $8.50. It is a set that includes a 12, 14, and 17mil sizes. I never saw it when I was looking so go to more than one location. I understand this takes some effort to get out of the old wing and these ratchets look like they are up to the task. They are made for 1/2 inch ratchet drives. My suggestion is to use a breaker bar so you don't damage the ratchet when removing.
Those 14mm allen sockets are a pain to find. In case anyone needs one, you can get it at AutoZone or order it online at their site:
Includes a 12mm, 14mm and 17mm
