josh4hem is infamous around these parts
The porsche book time and job description includes removing the whole engine and trans to do the clutch. I have looked up this time in the book myself multiple times. The reason for the engine removal is because its hard to get the rod out that holds the clutch fork, you can sneak this out therefore trans can be removed without dropping the engine. just tricks of the trade. Dealers will quote you a price for the engine removal because that's what the porsche book time and job description says, wether or not they do? All I know is we charge the customer for the work that we preformed no tricks.
