Do you know how much each seat weighs?

 

Britt, I have the "sport" version of that recaro seat. It has all the features of the leather, fan, heat, air bladder and electric rake control as well as extending thigh support. It also has holes for the shoulder harness, no separate head rest, no adjusting side supports--just good side and shoulder supports. I got it with deviating red stitch to match the rest of the interior, too. Love it.

question for Evan, on recaro web site, I like some of their shirts, but I can't enter a shipping address. Can I buy through you at FVD?

What's a pair like the one's Rave just bought run? Do they really make up for a harsher ride from lowered and stiffened suspension?

Chronos:I do not know off hand what they weigh and unfortunatly I don't have any in stock to weigh...

james:The sport is also a great seat. It is very similar to the Porsche sport seat (also made by Recaro) but has a bit more support and comfort. As for the shirts...we actually sell Recaro those shirts so yes I can get you them.

topspn:The Trend Seats in Leather retail for $1345/ea + sliders for the 996 ($285/per side). However I can take a good chunk out of both of those prices . Give me a call if you are interested. They are a very comfortable seat, much more so than the Porsche seats. It is std. in some Jaguars and Audi's as said in this thread (that should tell you how comfortable they are).

these are VERY nice seats and look very luxo. do you really feel a difference with the ride. Anything that approaches the ride of 575M? congrats on an interesting and beautiful mod (these seats go really well with the car and do not look aftermarket ).

 

The ride is still the ride, lets face it, PSS9's set at the firmest setting is great on handling and not so good on comfort, the seats really do help, this is obviously just my opinion and nothing scientific, I am very happy with the seats, the sport ones are also very nice and have a much sportier look. I prefer the look of mine, they really class up the interior and add a little refinement.

 

Rave, how big are you? I've been looking into these seats because the motor busted on my acura seats, but i've yet to find a pair locally I can sit in.

The sides are adjustable, you can make it as tight ar you want.
