Got my new CF rear wing installed...
I got a new CF wing from John @ Speedtech on my 996TT-S Cab. Car is Atlas Gray and the wing is a clear coated carbon fiber. If ordering one be SURE to first have a 14mm Allen wrench and a thin steel tube or pipe to use as leverage. Trust me, you will need it. I could not find the 14mm at any of the main stores (Home Depot, Lowes, Sears, etc.) and had to go to a specialty hardware store so just be sure to get one first. They're around $8. Anyways, here are a few pics with the new wing on. Some more mods on the way including clear sides, painted bumperettes, silver hood crest, exhaust and shifter.

The car looks lowered, springs? Suspension? Also, those are not S exhaust
tips unless for some reason mine are different, half oval half straight. So
maybe it already has an after market exhaust. I like the wing.

I was wondering if that was an option, should have known. Mind if I ask
what you did to lower the car. Springs or full up suspension? I am
considering springs as I had on my 993 Turbo.
that has to be the best looking wing I've ever seen on a Porsche Cab. The CF works so well with the Atlas Gray. You've got the right list of mods. lined up too--great, you have a fine example to work with.
This is completely subjective and might be your favorite aftermarket aspect of the car--in fact you may have purchased them. If this was my car, which it is not, I would ditch those wheels so fast it would be a blur. Simply my opinion, you may totally love them as may many others.
Your Porsche is so stunning on it's own. That much chrome draws my eyes and holds them and overwhelms the car itself for me. I would put on something much more subtle.
If you love them of course that's all that counts--it's your ride. Obviously it's simply a matter of personal preference. Congratulations on the wing. I can not imagine a better choice--it's exquisite. Completely enhances your Porsche--enjoy. jaj
