They might pay you to take the Minardi team.

You could drive one car and keep Zolt as the other driver. After a few races, you might be able to keep up with the safety/pace car and give Zolt a run for his money...

If I'm not mistaken a new GT3RSR is around 340,000 US..
Plus the usual stuff like new rotors, pads tires, gas and rebuilds.
Cheaper to get a used GT3RS for only 160K and still pay the 25K every 40 hours for a top-end!!!!

As said in racing circles and is very true from my experience...

You start with a big fortune.

F1 racing on a tight budget:

Just by an old Ferrari F1 car and take it vintage racing like Frederico Kroymans did at the Monterey Historics. Word of advice- Learn to drive it before you race it!

1999 Ferrari F1 Before:

1999 Ferrari F1 After: There goes the budget!

They should've make him take driving lessons from MichaelS before letting him take the car home.

Start with sponsorship first.
I have an F1 sponsor spot that I can sell you

Ask Letterman what it takes to own an IRL team.
