Texas Mile Veterans: Tire Question

A tire pressure question rather.
Should I run car manufacturer recommended pressures or higher (and if higher how much higher)? Iam pretty sure I should not run lower because of drag and heat at higher speeds. I will be running at 175-180mph maximum (and that may be too optimistic).
I was planning on running manufacturer rec levels unless someone makes a compelling case otherwise.

run 45-50 lbs.

Short shift so as to not overheat your intercoolers in the lower gears by winding them out. Shift slightly above your max torque rpms.

Good luck it is great fun!

Thanks for the quick reply. Do you mean 45-50lbs all around or just in back?
