My C43 got egg'd while I was driving one night in May (who carries eggs in May.........pissed off Foster Farms chickens?) and it shattered the paint in the middle of the hood.

 

Probably some punk kids that didn't know a Porsche from their behind... or care!

 

and that's why i take my prius when i know it's gonna be parked for a while - It would be nice to take the 360, yet due to the ignorant jealous people out there... i don't even want to risk it

 

Things like this happen and its inevitable, Especially in this economy right now.

 

Unfortunately, there are those that feel others have too much and too nice. The egg should be washed off quickly, but more importantly, as stated by DetailJohn, the shells do more harm than anything else. The shell is calcium carobonate and is very tough. This damages the paint because as the egg cracks, all the little shell pieces act as sharp knives piercing the paint surface. It's happened to me and I could have stranggled the people that did it. I feel your pain dude.

I know how that feels. Someone egged my C6 Corvette, luckly no damage was done.
