If you had just a few months left, I would have assumed your lease in a milli second... in a year or two, if you stil have your car and you still want someone to assume your lease, and if I am still a member, drop me a PM...

Racer 63:

Whether you would still have liability on the lease after an assumption depends on what your lease contract says. Some companies allow assumptions; some don't. Some have liability for the first lessor; some don't. I believe you can get a list of all leasing companies and their polices on swapalease.com or leasetrader.com.

Best of Luck,

Collin Porterfield

s/b in Jan or Feb. As soon as the house is finished.

Hopefully the car will be sold before then...

I'll find out.

Do you mean Racer63?

I will sell those parts if I don't have a buyer for the car very soon. With the GT3 showing up very soon, I'll need to make space in the garage. So, I will likely trade it in and sell the parts.

Won't you also need the chip?

Pierre,

I don't know if the chip will work on the 2001. But I will find out.

I have one possible buyer on the car. Otherwise I'll need to strip the upgrades off asap and trade it in. The GT3 is arriving sooner than I expected. Should be here early next week.
