how does the 996 TT 4wd work?

it almost seems i can't start in 1st 2nd or even 3rd sometimes at WOT to redline without the tail being twitchy, it almost seems like i am on 2wd... giving it full gas in 2nd or 3rd around a slight bend is just scary!!! the last high horsepower car i had was an audi s4 chipped and it "felt" way more planted....

I am running the stock suspension, what can i do to make the car feel more "stable"?

Was ur S4 a B5 (turbo) or naturally aspirated? Hitting boost around a corner in any turbo'ed car can get a little hairy

I may be wrong, but i thought only 10% of the torque can be transferred to the front in the TT? Most of the time the car is in RWD anyway???

Curious what kind of tires you are running. I had Michelin PS2's for my last set and they were a lot more planted then my Pirellis that I have on now. I have a feeling the Pirellis will last a lot longer as they seem a lot harder, but the PS2's really gave the car good control around corners and also in straight line runs.

Now its a little cold here in NY so your going to get tire spin either way.

This is not correct. The car is usually ~5% front, but this can go as high as 40%.

As others have suggested...tires, tire pressure, suspension and alignment all affect drivability. You do have PSM engaged? Try driving without PSM and see the difference.

I do not experience what you are....the last time I id was in my 930....now that one was scary.
