Question Wheel Spacers / Correct Placement

As most 6Speed'rs know, I recently changed over from aftermarket wheels to 997 TT rims. I did not have any spacers on the wheels. At a casual glance, the rims appear to be recessed more than the old rims. Is there a rule of thumb measurement that I should use for wheel wells. I would appreciate any feedback.
Also, where can I find spacers if need be.

Interesting, Alan at wheel enhancement suggested I would need 5mm spacers for my 997tt wheels but maybe that was b/c I was going to run 315's on rear. If you are running 315's in rear I would think the tires might rub on inside panel? Even with the 5mm and a drop with my h&R's my wheels are too tucked in for my taste. I may pick up some 15mm spacers which should do the trick. Alan at Wheel Enhancement or Ben/Kevin at Wheels Boutique should be able to hook you up with spacers. Good luck.
