chopper guys, how do the bikes handle with those super wide rear tires? i bet that takes some getting used to
The wide rear tire is actually beneficial; however, most custom builders must offset the engine to accomodate the tire, so it tends to make the bike left-side heavy. Within the past 6 months or so, a lot of builders have been going to a right-side drive to counter this. The right-side drive bikes that I've ridden have all been unbelievably well balanced. Right-side drive is definitely the way to go on a 250 tire bike.

Also, these bikes sit so low that you can't really lean them over much without scraping. They certainly aren't designed for zipping through the canyons....they are bar hoppers.

Honestly you have to meet me to understand. A lot of kids say they are responsable, but I really am. I understand the dangers, and respect the vehicles in the way that they should be.... I do agree the Ducati was a bit over the top, and was somwhat of an accedent. My dad bid on a no reserve auction for the hell of it, and we actually got the bike!! He was planning on buying me a smaller CC bike like the Yamaha R6 (the Ducati 748 at most).... I really don't know how to reply besides:you have to meet me, and my familly

... in a straight line 700lbs!! mine weighs exactly half that and puts 160HP, so that 150HP must be wrong anyway whats the point on being the fastest accel/top speed with 700lbs Well, you have your Ferrari Modena's (Ducati/Aprilia V2-1000's) your Porsche GT2's (Suzuki GSX-R 1000's), your Mercedes CL65AMG's (Suzuki Hyabusa's) ... and that bike would be would be the "Stage 4" Cayenne

I love Harley. I've never had a ride on one of their bikes but I have thoroughly enjoyed riding the the stock for the last 8 years! Harley is a fabulous company!

The point is the motorcycle is a cruiser with speed. A comfortable, cool cruiser will a set of *****, if you will. I had my share of sportbikes which, inccidentally, I am through with. A nice cruiser with a bunch of attitude would be fun.

I am highly considering the Triumph or a Harley.

Also, you a right... The bike has 143 hp but it is the torque (147lbs) which catapults this bike 0-60. Also the bike has a 240 on the rear which looks awesome. Another interesting tidbit, it pulls 1.20 g's upon exceleration.

Put straight bars and a 17 inch tire in the front and it would be awesome.

Well, that torque sure qualifies as a "set of *****"

Cruisin' is not my cup of tea (...yet) but I like what Triumph is doing and how they have resurrected, do you have a pic of that bike?
