brakes are carbon ceramic on the F430...size is so that they can compete with the 15" 8-piston brembos on the gallardo

Maybe better in person, but the rear glass panel seems overdone, too big and flat. Looks like someone took a plate glass window off an office building and slapped it on there.

I'll never get rid of the TT - but another car never hurt anyone. Anyone 6'2" sat in one of these things? How much room is there - is it easy to get in an out of (I don't have a usable left leg so this complicates it)?

At this point, I still prefer the lines of the 360, although I remember saying the same thing about the 355 when 360 came out. Eventually, I ended up getting used to the front bumper of the 360, although I think this is its only design weakness.

I agree with some of the others. I don't love the rear lights from the Enzo - they just seem added on. Also, I think the car would look better with a black mesh "Challenge" style rear grill. Maybe this is to come. I think the intakes on the top of rear fender stand out (look too high) as opposed to the 360 which flow within the fender. I also don't like how the openings in the front bumber (rounded) don't match the side intakes on the door and on the side of the front bumper (angular). Lambo chose sharp/crisp lines with the Gallardo. Ferrari should have kept the soft lines of the 360. From the interior shots I've seen, its definately a step up.

Having said all that, I've already spoken to my dealer about a 430 Spider!

Aren't carbons optional on the F430? I thought the only two production cars standard with carbon are the 360 CS and the Enzo?

Beautiful car!!
Carbon brakes, as I understand, are an option on the 430.

The 355 still remains my favorite looking ferrari but this thing really looks damn good.
