Jauder,

Seriously, WTF. I think before you post something of this nature you should get your story straight. I have been dealing with Cargraphics for a while and I have yet to have any kind of complaint.

I was part of the the Carbon Fiber Group buy, and I was not charged a penny until it got into my hands, and if I can't reach them I leave a message and get a call within a few hours.

Also, after reading this post, you should vent your fustration at the dealer in California and not Cargraphics.

Just my 0.02
Your dealings are your dealings. If you want to know Jauder's story, ask him in a PM. If you want my story, ask me in a PM.

Hershel has been extremely accomodating in his correspondence. He has generously offered next day air and a $50 refund. Those are acts of superior customer service, no doubt. There are other things that need improvement.

Addison,

I have openly admitted and will continue to admit that you have every right to be upset.. and yes I have promised on several occasions that the coolers should be released any day. Clearly my mistake, however, based on my realistic expectation. but what do I have to gain by not delivering the product?

If you are referring to corrspondance please understand that I have a business to run, If you havent noticed we manufacture or distribute over 5000 products and with the additional burden of trying to get a sizeable shipment through some very thick red tape I am sorry if I cannot be available to you every time. I have try to keep you informed through PM's E-mails and phone calls. In fact I sent both you and Jauder E-mail updates 3 hoours before this thread was put up by Jauder.

If you want the product I will gladly deliver it with refund and overnight as promised.. If you want to cancel I understand this as well..

If your goal here is to tarnish my reputation or sway board members away from doing business with CG, Then why do you still want the coolers from me?

I am the one bending over backwards to accomodate the delay... it is definetely out of bounds for you to continue to malign CG over this one incident.

Why is it that the bigger the name brand the worse the service? You get 10x better treatment for some lousy Pepboy steel 14" wheels???

Hershel,
I have not openly slammed you on this or any other board. I am not trying to malign or damage the reputation of Cargraphic. I have given you credit where credit is due but have also stated there is room for improvement, without elaborating.
I received your email and did respond. Nothing has changed. The product you represent is the best product available. Because of my desire to use your product, I have been more than patient. I have not called you repeatedly.
As I stated in my email to you, I gladly look forward to receiving your product.

I am done with this thread. The next time I post, it will be to express my satisfaction with Cargraphic...or not.

I was not going to respond to this but I cannot just sit back and let good people like Hershel and Cargraphic take this abuse!

I have had many business dealings with Hershel and Cargraphic without even a hint of a problem

These massive group buys put huge pressure on the supplier with little or no profit, basically they are done to only benefit the end user

Hershel has admitted there are problems and will rectify them
They are import difficulties which are out of his control

Cargraphic has given many things to the Porsche community just out of the sheer LOVE for the cars and the people involved with them

I understand the frustration of a few people but Hershel is a stand up guy and will follow through with his promises
He has offered quick shipping and rebates at his expense, what more would you like the man to do?
IN MY BOOK, THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL

Oh and Wantone, the Pep Boys comment was way out of line!!!
This is an isolated incident that should have been handled offline, not on the open forum

I have been dealing with Cargraphic way before the 6 Pack and Herschel is a stand up guy. I am confident Herschel will come through as he always does.

no company can have 100% satisfied customers or deliver flawlessly every single time, it just isn't realistic.

I'm very glad there is no forum or message board for the business I am in

It has been a policy of mine to refrain engaging is this type of thread-banter...particularly given the public nature of the communication medium. However, I feel fairly strongly that this issue merits a departure from my self-imposed policy. I’m disappointed that board members would initiate disparaging remarks about vendors (particularly those that have a demonstrated track record of being exemplary sponsors such as cg). Moreover, when remarks of this ilk are made it also has the unfortunate impact of adversely affecting one’s livelihood if taken out of context. As others have commented on this thread, if there is an issue of customer dissatisfaction there has to be a more dignified way of handling rather that starting a denigrating post.

Hershel, I commend you for taking the high moral ground in terms of your thoughtful and respectful responses...to what we now know to be undeserved criticism. You’re a scholar and a gentleman. I for one will do business with you any day of the week!
