Gary, here in Colorado the difference between a N/A car and Turbo is big. A N/A car loses 4% for each 1,000 fts -> Colorado 5,500 ft= - 22% power. Turbo car you just lose 1%, here is just 5.5%......that 16.5% makess a difference.

Z06's are pigs. I raced one and destroyed it here on Maui. Another guy in a pretty much stock Diablo 6.0 raced one, with all sorts of mods, including heads, cam, all the other crap, and he still couldnt beat the 6.0 . Have both races on video.

 

Disagree. A lightly modded Z06 will walk you and a modded one is very fast, will mostly likely beat just about any car here: high 9s @ 140+mph.

Mine ran a 9.95 @ 143, not too many Lambos doing that.

Get off the crack, Ive raced several, they are not even close. Ive always raced them from a roll. They may dip into the 11's on drag radials etc, but at a low mph.

As i said, my buddy in South Florida met up with the Z06 guys because there was a huge debate with them also thinking they could walk a Diablo. The Z06 they ran, was a 575hp (crank) car against a Diablo 6.0 with just a carback exhaust and air filters. They ran several times, from different mph's and each time the Diablo came out ahead (slightly) except when they started at 50mph, and the Diablo started in 2nd gear, out of its powerband. It was on video, and the Z06 guys shut up. I will walk away from a 6.0.

I can post my race against a friends stock 04 Z06 if youd like.

And btw, the majority of Z06's are running in the mid 12's at 112-114mph. Been at the track watched them run, also follow the Z06 boards.

You get off the crack. All you do is rip on other cars. All you do is hate. You're always talking about how great your Lambo is and how you did this and you did that. You give Lambo owners a bad name.

Go run an MTI Z07 or a Lingenfelter Twin Turbo and tell me what happens.

The 575bhp Z06s I know all run low 11s and do even better from a roll. Are you running low 11s? Maybe the Z06 you ran wasn't running properly...whatevAr.

The bottom line is give some credit where credit is due. Relatively speaking, Z06's are the best bang-for-the buck when it comes to performance. They have nearly unlimited modding potential. Everyone in the automotive realm recognizes this because it's been documented. But you never do that, all you do is hate. I see that on just about everyone of your posts. Always a critic of others but when someone says something negative or questions a Lambo, you get all defensive. LOL!

So, try not to hate the player; hate the game.
