Poll: Coilovers or Wheels
I started with wheels a couple of months ago and the coilovers only a couple of weeks ago. If I would start with a new car in the future then the coilovers would be the first upgrade of all.
Here's someone claiming to be willing to do wholesale on JIC Cross coilovers with minimum of 3 sets in group buy. I know nothing about the vendor. Just passing along info.

+1 with this statement.
we did wheels first and it looked a bit goofy having the car not being lowered first. if i had to do it over again, i'd do suspension first as lowering it looks good even with stock wheels.
I voted for wheels, BUT as soon as you see the wheels. The car will look kinda of 4 x 4ish and you will RUN to get it lowered. Wheels first and then you HAVE to get it lowered. If you lower it first, it will look ok and the wheels will come in much later.
Most definitely CO's first. The stock suspension just sucks, and it's just amazing what a quality set of CO's will do for the ride and handling.
As others have said, the car will look goofy if you do wheels first, but if you do CO's first, it'll look badass.

Your car already has "coilovers", but yes, I vote for an adjustable ride height suspension too!
Aftermarket wheels and stock ride height just looks weird.... Not to mention you'll actually see a performance improvement from the suspension.
Stock TT bits.

Do you want to enjoy the car more from the driver's seat, or enjoy the looks you get from other people as you drive?...
No brainer, Coilover's first... Your stock wheels work fine
