60-130... 6.3s
im not sure what people dyno on high boost on 93 but they are misinformed or dont care if they blow it up. at 1.4 minimum 104 oct. and at 1.6 thats just a lot of boost for a stock motor no matter what gas you run.
do your self a favor and on 93 run no more then 1.2 bar.

I think this is a little more commomn than some of us realize. I was surprized to hear today from my tuner that he has several customers running 1.4 bar on 24/18G's with 93 octane and no detonation and no problems. He feels if the car is tuned properly for the higher boost on 93, it's fine. I still would not try it, but I learned several are doing it.
Personally, I cap it at 1.18 on 93 octane.

What is up Doc? You should really consider adding the 75mm TB with IPD plenum, does wonders. Thanks for the kind words.
The safest insurance against detonation is better fuel...
If you take two cars both on pump gas and both at 600 rwhp according to the tuner's dyno results... one has a smaller turbo running 1.4 bars and the other running a bigger turbo at 1 bar.... I bet the car with the bigger turbo will beat the other one.... even though its only at 1 bar.
I am just talking out loud and this may not apply to all turbos applications but I can tell you all that it works in my friend's case - big time.

Thanks Scott for checking. It is nice to see that the car ran in 7's on a 4.1% incline with pump gas. I will run her again after the new year with better gas.
cheers

there are different ways of tuning.... one is high boost less timing and the other is less boost with aggressive timing.... Its all about cylinder pressure and there is more then one way to get there...
