Will 17" wheels fit on a 996tt?
Hi all. I would like to go against the 'bigger is better' norm, and
try some wide 17" wheels. Does anyone know whether 17" wheels would
clear the calipers etc?

That's no problem.......actually I've run em the last 3 winters, and they will go on again come Dec.
Offset is the concern........and yes the fronts need the clearance most.....personally, on an 8J rim with 50mm offset, I run a 7 mm spacer, hence 43mm in the front.
The 43 BTW, puts me right out there (at the fender).
