ClearShield repair

I had one of those clear plastic protective film bras installed on my car when I bought it and I love it. Recent Porsche paint is SO brittle and chips so easily, as I am sure you are all know.

Yesterday, I spotted a quarter-sized "gash" down on the skirt where it curves front-to-side. Part of the material was hanging loose.

What is the best way to repair this? It isn't right in the main line if vision, so it wouldn't be too obvious/ugly if I could reattach the loose flap, even if the repair was not perfect. At least that would still provide some protection.

Any suggestions?
