The new GT2
I am not a fan of the GT3 wheels on the GT2, I prefer the 02-03 wheels more, as far as trading up is the last thought considering the value of how the GT2 has help up, the rise in price of the 04, the power of the car is plenty the main thing is to learn the car with more seat time not more hp IMO.
All it needs now is a foot tall " GReddy " decal across the rear glass.
I'm hearing that the leading edge " ricers" have tired of the scene as mainstream makers are designing in sterotypical " rice " features now so they are moving to the next phase : " Subtlety "- or " reverse rice ". Any ricers here care to comment ?

The leading edge ricers cry at the scene these days
They've got to be kidding with that unfinished CF wing. It will only look good on black cars. It's a very Evo-like thing to do. As for it being OK for the wheels of the GT-3 and GT-2 to be shared, I'd be insulted if I owned a GT-2 and was given the same wheels by the factory on a car costing about half of mine. Maybe they can put the Cayenne 20's on the Carrera GT next.

2004 GT2 Press Release
On the Ferrari Stradale you get real carbon fiber lightening everywhere for your $200 Grand. Lithographed "carbon fiber" plastic is something I'd expect on a $20K pocket rocket wannabe, not a $192K car. Most real ricers would be embarrassed.

The whole exercise of mirrors, wing and wheels does seem to smack of cosmetics purely to differentiate the new model. Makes sense that they're standard on the Clubsport on the basis of weight reduction, but certainly wouldn't spec them as an option. Don't do anything for me at all - as red devil says, can only see them working on a basalt car, and then it rather defeats the object if it's supposed to be a styling exercise. But I suppose they've got to be giving you something in addition to a new chip for the £7k price hike.
Anyway, who needs styling when the car looks the way it does? I'm not sure I can think of any GT2 owners who have actually done any cosmetic modifications to the exterior of their cars.
