I paid asking price. $55,000. I negotiated to include some extras that they had like 2 sets of rims/tires, and a 2nd exhaust system that was not on the car, plus shipping on those items to me in Boston.
I was able to sell my M3 for $2K over KBB, and I'm very okay with $55,000 for what I got. I don't feel as though I was taken at all. I really feel like I got a great car for the money, regardless of the fact the dealer did not lower his price for me.
It's scary fast. I just need to find someone who has a stock 996TT to drive mine, and let me drive their car, so I can feel the difference for myself.

congrats - i wasn't going more then 50k on it since i wanted extra $$ left over to remove the non leather inserts and put back to stock leather - but you got a good deal - many years of safe driving and good health!
