The GT3 seats are very comfortable as long as your are not tall.
Otherwise those cut outs are hard to the head.
For Day to Day driving the turbo seats are much more comfortable
around town.

The 997 sport seats were one of the best mods I have done to my car. Much better support. I paid $1200 +$400 shipping. The best way to find a pair is troll the 997 GT3 board and when someone posts that they just bought a GT3, congratulate them and tell them you want to buy their seats if they upgrade. There are usually a few guys looking at any one time so it's best to be proactive rather than missing out to others when they are offered. Just my .02.

Well I must respectfully disagree with anyone suggesting the GT3 seats are uncomfortable. I love mine and they are way more supportive than the stock seats (which are a joke if you ask me). I have driven 4+hours at a time with no issues. My suggestion is for you to try them yourself rather than listening to opinions on the net.

I put GT3 bucket seats in my 996tt last summer. I think they are great. They seem like a good compromise between a full on race bucket seat and the stock seats. In my opinion, I think they are mildly bolstered, which allows me to get comfortable on longer trips, however they do add a lot more shoulder support while cornering. They are certainly lighter than the stock seats. At 6' tall, I'm seated a little too close to the headliner, so I will have to modify the side mounts in order to accommodate a helmet.
Long story short, I'm quite happy with the GT3 seats. Great quality, look great.

I just installed some GT3 seats and I love them. For how I use my car, not a DD with some track use I think they are perfect. If the car was a DD they might be more of a hassle than they are worth, getting in and out quickly all day. But if your car is not a DD I think you will love em
