Anyone in the Bay Area, CA ?

I'm getting my clutch replaced soon and I'm thinking of getting a LWFW from a member on the board. But i would like to experieince it first. Someone willing to give me a ride and if possible experience a lwfw to see what it feels like and decide weather if i should do it or not.

Is there anyone out there that is willing to volunteer to take some precious time out of their day please let me know.

Thanks!

Enrique

We do them a lot on the NA cars but with the way the hydraulic assist is in the TT's it can become tricky to start in 1st gear (it's also noisy as heck) depending on what clutch disc you have.... It's certainly helpful but not as big a change as in an NA car I think.

I haven't decided on the clutch yet. From what i read, a lot of pp like the one Kevin at UMV provides with the kit. Is a LWFW compatibly with the stock clutch ? I'm not seeking anymore HP out of my car, only perhaps intake box similar to a 997tt with a custom tune on a dyno.

I have the one from Kevin at UMW. I have no problem at all in 1st gear, but it does make a little rattling noise when not in gear or low RPM. Not loud though.
