"Doug,
Ditto! Is that a Gemballa front lip spoiler?"

Ken;
Yes it is.
Your eye is well trained in all things Gemballa.
I need a wing too, but cannot decide which one I should get.

On the way down Fred's was fastest. But then Stephen and Todd installed a dry nitrous kit on my car and I nossed my way home- ok that part was a lie. On the way down though, my car the trottle body was closing by 4500rpms so it would drop into safety mode On the way back (tbc).....

Hey guys,

Just got back in from LA. WHAT A GREAT TIME! Seeing Endra's, Fred's, and Richard's TT's parked on the side of the 101 in Aromas was classic. Too bad my camera wasn't cooperating and too bad that you couldn't join us for the trip Endra. I hope your project turned out well.

That drive down to Ventura was just awesome. I have to say that I was really impressed with Fred's car the most. That Techart kit looked great in person. I also have to mention Alex's car, my ears are still ringing from your exhaust

Doug, your help in watching our butts saved us all. I'm really surprised that no one got a ticket. That CHP that paced us for like 10 miles was just looking for a reason....

Richard, your hi speed drive by's always managed to put a grin on my face. I'm looking forward to seeing those pics you took.

Josh, your GT2 looks amazing on the road. I think I need one of those wings on my car...

So guys, when are we doing this again? If this is what the Gumball is like Fred, I am DEFINITELY in for Paris. I may have to spring for a TT now. My C4S is starting to feel a little slow.

Endra,

Great pics!! Sorry you couldn't join us for the ride down.

All of us NorCal listers should all get together more often.

Sharky, let me know the next time you do a mountain run...

Josh

Doug,
Regarding the wing, you really should take a look at 03C4S's car. It is a C4S (Obviously) and is, quite frankly, the most beautiful example I have seen to date.

Ken;
I do agree that is one very nice C4S. He really went all out to make it just "right"!!
I also really like Peter Lee's C4S - unique.

How about a drive from Silver Creek/Morgan Hill , over Hecker Pass Rd with it's crazy zig-zags at the top ( Hwy 152 ) , lunch in Aptos , then back over 17 ? Good combo of hiway/ brisk mtn driving /ocean front rest stop ?

It was great meeting you too Robert. Sorry about the ringing, I tried to behave but....

BTW Lovely C4S. We were behind you for a while and just commenting on how clean it looks from behind without a spoiler and that it looks cool when it comes up above 75mph- which as you know was "never" the case on that drive.

Alex,

I'm still dissapointed that there were no cars to offer a "Challenge" on the down as you said. Would of been nice to have a run in with a camaro or souped up cavalier
