Your competition is/are the top dogs on THIS board. Everyone has been waiting to see how your car stacks up against the worlds fastest Porsches. Thus it is totally unnecessary for you to actually run side by side against another car, the ultimate test is your time. The V-box does not lie and everything else is Bull****.

There have been innumerable claims made by pretenders that their car is fast/badass/unbeatable/ blah blah blah ad nauseum. That is the beauty of the V-box verification, it cuts through all the lies, fantasies and false claims.

Now, we all know that you car has had the absoltes best in terms of products, builder and tuning. At the risk of being "Craigesque," when you refuse to run the only conclusion that we can be drawn to is that somehow you are afraid that your performance as a driver will be the missing piece to a sub 5 second run. Personally, I do not think that is the case, but that is what everyone thinks when someone refuses to produce a verified time.

Come on, Bud, represent, we all want to see you and your amazing car do well.

 

I drive the car to work to get it inspected this morning... I take my dad with me because he insisted on going to the little inspection place with me... I tell him I'm going to show him how the new exhaust and wastegates sound... I go WOT and it hits 1.0bar and the car shuts the throttle body and my ABS/PSM light come on... So I was thinking great... Bye bye MAF... Pull over at a local parking lot and bust out my Durametric cable and laptop, yes I keep them with me LOL... There are no CELs or anything in the DME memory, but there is some weird error in the ABS/PSM section... The car drives fine, the brake lights work, there is no idle issue, but I haven't gone WOT again to test it... I'm hoping it's something small because I couldn't stand to have the car down another week or more...

On a side note... How much do you think a 200+lb passanger and making a pull around a basically REALLY wide 90* turn would effect your 60-130??? The weather sucked yesterday, but it was funny that where it shows the line traveled it makes a 90* turn and I deviate from the center like 1000+ meters or so... Also that part of the road goes up 20ft according to my Driftbox, could that be because of the satellite drop out that it kept showing on the file??? Was going to call you yesterday Peter to ask, but didn't want to bother you on such a nice Sunday...

Todd isn't the only one.

 

I'm going to try to make it in the car just to drive it but without ABS/PSM I don't feel comfortable going down the track. Plus my car is a turd anyway since it went 135.7 that one night. Maybe she is only good at the 1/4 mile because my Driftbox does not like me or something is really wrong with the car. Well there are major problems but I don't think they effect performance other than braking or controlling traction LOL!

 

Pending a not so bad hangover I will be attending.

 

If you are having ABS issues, don't risk it. I just found out first hand what it's like to have ABS failure. My confidence in the car is GONE. I had about three times the amount of distance needed to stop, at moderate braking, and couldn't get it stopped. I tried letting off the brakes then coming in softer, then letting of and going as hard as possible, then letting off and coming in soft again, then tried to hop on the curb at the last second as a last ditch effort but got bounced back, and still rear ended someone at about 15MPH.

It's going to take some seat time to be able to put the whip to her like I used to.

I'm hoping to make it out still, but if I don't make it, ya'll have fun.

I have to disagree with you. Many factors can take place from one run to the next. I think the best way to see how one car compares to another car is to race them together. All factors will be equal? But if you like you can race me?

I know what happened to Sebatians car... I feel sorry for him. He is a great guy. But his car does make some serioius power? Hmmmm Tommy raced his car in the drizzle with 30 mile headwinds? If he only makes 750 RWHP how did he run a 5.4 60 to 130? Your car makes 850 rwhp and ran a similiar time in better conditions? Either way it is not important.

 

I said nothing of that matter. However, I would like to see how they do in Mexico.

 

Rob, my car ran 4.5 and Seb's ran 5.4, that is NOT close to the same time brother. I was making about 100 more rwhp than Seb's car. Sooooo, you going to run your car?
