Need your help please!

After seeing the Techart type II front bumper in person I really like it. I would like to do the Techart front bumper and side skirts but the Gemballa rear wing. Will that look dumb? Can someone photoshop a guards red tt with that combo please? If you need some shots of the Gemballa rear wing it is the one KPV (Ken) has on his car.

Thanks in advance!

I did not like either until I saw them in person. The front bumper looks alot better in person than in the pictures. The side skirts also look better in person. I got to see Ken's Gemballa wing in person and loved it!

Need someone to photoshop this for me please!

Buddy,
Am I the responsible party for this decision? I don't think many people like the Gemballa stuff. But, I guess we will see.

Here is a close up:

Post Bodykit

How about the Manthey RAcing bodykit?

140 lbs lighter, made out of carbon fiber and it increases downforce. The tail lights are those of the regular 911, which gives it that GT1 look.

Now all you need is $25000

WEbsite

Sure thing!

The Manthey Racing website is @ http://www.manthey-racing.de

The bodykit info can be found under: TUNING/STRASSENTUNING/BODY KITS

On a related note, the manufacturer´s site is:

http://www.light-weight.de - don´t expect much, the site is under heavy reconstruction

So what do you guys think about the Manthey bodykit?

Bodykit

Well, you do have to remember that the kit is fully CF and it consists of the front bumper and fenders, hood, and rear fenders and decklid w/ wing. Compared to what Techart charges for its bumpers alone it isn´t all that expensive. If you have problems with German, just use the Google language tools or the Altavista Babel fish. Their translation is pretty good. And I think the rims complement the car perfectly

I would like to see some better photos of the kit. Does anyone have any? I tried the Manthey site but the thumbnail links produce errors. It appears the front fenders are direct replacements and wider at that. The rockers look like 959 style, IMHO very nice. The rear treatment gets a little clunky besides the fact that the qurater panels will require major bodywork to fit the wedge shaped wing base.

If you search for Manthey Racing through Google it will come up and then you can click on "Translate this page" It is a translation albeit broken english.

Ken,

Click the link above and the pictures come through although you
have to keep the German.
