I plan on going WOT when I pull out of the parking lot. Why not open her up? You aren't breaking in any new parts. If you're afraid of blowing something and are going to get the car looked over, it makes sense to wait until a mechanic confirms that all is good. If not, you're just waiting to break in a car that has already been broken in. Good luck.

I understand how it could annoy you but maybe part of the issue is that he doesn't want to exceed the speed limit by a large amount. One more ticket for me and my ins. rates will go up for 3 years. I did a couple of 60-130 runs last summer and then decided it was really an unnecessary risk just to satisfy my ego. A 3rd gear pull is really one of the best ways to tell his boost but 3rd gets us going pretty fast; tops out at 125 for me.

Thank you. Cops are another thing I'm worried about. I'm really not feeling a 100+mph speeding ticket.

Well, it will be raining till friday, so no flooring till saturday . I'll do it the first day it clears up, and road conditions permit.

Just pulling your leg, don't WOT till you want to. Your boost is enough to tell that you are not stock. Learn the car slowly and safely. Enjoy.

That's what I thought, but then I found out that I'm overboosting due to a stuck WG
