Gruppe M wants near 4Gs for he Gallardo airbox - I agree it is good quality but the cost is not justified...I think they price it in relaion to the car's price

that intake is a piece of ****! if you dyno your car after you put it on and spent ~$2k for it, you should LOSE 5-7 HP.

COULDNT remember what brand it was, to be honest, just stating a point that a company doesnt need to charge us p-car owners an exorbinant (sp?) amount of money for parts (ie cf hood etc.) just because we own a porsche it doesnt mean we need to get overcharged, im just looking for a good quality cf hood at a good price.... around the 1000.00-1,500.00 range at the most..

i've been snowballed more than once by shady mechanics... ever since i owned a european car, one mechanic told me back in the day that since i had a mercedes, they had to charge me 150.00 for an alignment bec.. of this and that and that, the whole process was gonna take 1 1/2 - 2 hours... then when they did the alignment the car was done in 30 mins...

just dont think it's fair ..

in my opinion ....
A high quality CF hood is $2k-3k for a SOLID CF hood that fits perfectly. Most CF hoods you see on Hondas, etc are fiberglass with CF overlayed for the look, not the weight savings. They are **** poor quality and look like sh*t eventually.

BTW, an allignment does cost $150 or more.

I guess the aluminum and wood look are gay too...actually, imo the wood is gay.

I guess everyone that drives a 996TT is gay by your rationale except the people who got no interior trim pkg.

We dyno'd afterwards and it made positive gains.
