Personally, I think the C4S lip looks much better than the TT lip.

C4S front spoiler

I changed to the C4s spoiler on my lowered TT for the cleaner look and slightly better scrape avoidance. I've had my car over 170mph many times with no impact on handling that I could detect. Maybe the lowered stance helped. I don't know what the impact would be closer to 200mph.

no, my car is lowered quite a bit, and I would have no case. In LA there are many "dips" for controlling floods, and sometimes with the layout in Hollywood, it is a royal ***** to get around in a 996TT w/o scraping.

Agree. C4S lip looks more integrated. TT lip looks like a cheap add-on plastic tip.

Does anyone make a fat GT2-like lip for the turbo spoiler?
I do like your lip a lot. Looks tough and durable.
Is it soft rubber or hard plastic?

Great analysis. I heard from a German co-worker that a Ferrari is also seen as a pimp car in Germany, yes? Unless you have serveral, in which case you could be seen as a rich exotic car collector.

Can't imagine myself driving an SL*5 until I'm at least 55

Yea... but since you can only drive one car at a time...

The pimp car rating in Germany goes like this:

#1 Viper
#2 Corvette
#3 Countach
#4 Ferrari
#5 SL
#6 M3 (for junior pimps)
#7 any Bentley or Rolls Royce
#8 Hummer H1, H2
#9 BMW 8 series

Socially accepted (non-pimped and in decent colors):

#1 911 (all models)
#2 DB7, DB9, Vanquish
#3 Murcielago, Gallardo
#4 XK8, XKR, XJ series
#5 Range Rover, Cayenne, ML etc.
#6 BMW 6 series

Real exotics (such as the CGT or the SLR) do not really have a social image, since they are so rare.

The same list applies here. There are quite a few M3, Ferrari, and Viper pimps on this forum
