One day at a time.
Recovery is a natural log thing. You get a lot back fast but that little bit at the end can take 10x longer than it did in the beginning. You need to know that so you don't lose hope/focus/drive.
This data is meant to inform you so you don't lose hope..so you know that any slow down in recovery is normal and that what you are doing is still working. One day at a time. 2 to 3 smiles a day.

Jeff is right. But there is a sure speedy recovery system. It is called Straight pipes. If you get yourself a set of straight pipes and go drive tunnels twice a week, I can safely say that you will recover twice as fast as normal. The adrenalin coursing through your veins and the higher heart rate will allow more oxygen to be carried to all parts of the body and effect repairs quicker. Trust me I know what I am talking about, I have a degree around here somewhere. It's just not a medical one.

See yourself as well already. Mindset is the number one healer. Best wishes. Meditation is known to lower blood pressure. Maybe something to add to your daily routine. Just my $.02. It has worked wonders in my life.
