take off Front Brake Pad Vibration Damper

take off Front Brake Pad Vibration Damper

I am doing my front brakes and I see there are 2 knobies on the old pads
How do I get them off? I was going to try and pry them then I thought I should ask first so I don't bust em

You can get them off with a sharp scraper blade. I think you may want to replace them I got a new set when I did mine.

so I got them off not problem..
Do I need to add any glue or something when I reinstall them to the new pads?
They are a bit sticky still

I would replace them caus I didn't know thats how they worked but I don't have a dealor or anyone who stocks them in my town so they are 4 days out still..

I just put a little glue on them... should be fine next time get all next parts

man working on these cars is GREAT. I can't beleive how easy things are to work on.
That was the eaisest rotor and pad job I have ever done...
