I'm ready to purchase a 996TT and I want to do a very thorough PPI. I searched the archives, although admittedly I didn't go back through the 1000 pages, and didn't see an official "where to get a PPI" thread. If people want to include other cities, I can maintain this thread so future PPI searchers get a good hit.

Where are your recommendations for doing a PPI near LA? I suspect going to a top independent mechanic might be superior to a dealership for incentives reasons. The independent has his reputation at stake but the mechanic at the dealer is just an agent as opposed to the principal.

What part of LA are you talking? Closer to the OC, the valley, South Bay or near Pasadena?
