Anyone know the part number for this c-clip? power-steering leak..

First off, thanks to all those who helped me find the boost leak. That problem should be fixed. Problem was located on top of turbo inlet duct.

I found a broken c-clip that maybe causing a leak while working on the car. I looked through Porsche PET, and cannot find a part number.

Here is a picture of the general area, so you have an idea where it is. It looks like a high pressure power steering line. (filled with pentosin?)
Also i have the evoms gt2 slave conversion, would it change what fluid is in here? It's been leaking for awhile, i'm assuming which ever fluid in there must be low by now.

Here is a picture of the c clip i need to replace.

Here is another shot of it.

Here is a picture of the actually clip. It's hard to see but one of the ends is broken.

Has anyone had this problem before. During a car meet today, i noticed a buddy of mine also had this problem. In his case, the clip was missing entirely. Besides this clip, could there be a broken o ring within?

Thanks in advance. I'd be lost with the support of the members of this forum.

Hey, I just got your PM. You are correct, that is a high pressure PS line and a leak over there is pretty dangerous as it is close to the exhaust and Pentosin is extremely flammable. The clip is there just for the sole purpose that wnen you unscrew the coupling, the retainer that is inside doesn't fall out. There are two o-rings in the coupling, one on the outside thread and one inside by where the line goes in where the c-clip goes. I don't believe there is a way to change the one on the inside. and you might have to get a whole new piece of line to get that coupling. I'll check in the garage as I had one left over when I replaced a segment of the line. The only thing is that I know that part numbers for the line have changed and diameters of the line going into the coupling could be different.

BEN@autoscope is infamous around these partsBEN@autoscope is infamous around these parts
I have two part numbers that your going to need to check with your local porsche parts dealer. 999 230 685 40 and 999 230 683 40. Until you have gotten the right clip you can use a small zip tie on the fitting were the clip should be. This will keep enough tension on the fitting so that it's safe to drive the car!!! The part numbers are due to a VIN split. Good luck with the fix! Hope that I helped you out some.

Ben, Thanks for finding the part numbers for me. I'm not starting to think its worse then just the broken clip.

Adam, thanks for your input. How do i go about taking that line out? I will stop by the dealer to see if they have the c-clips, do you know the part numbers for the o-ring/ line for the coupling? Since the sizes of the coupling changed, how can i make it work?
Adam, after talking to several techs, i think i may just need to replace the hole coupling/line. Can u forward me the part numbers?

Second this, the really small ones fit perfectly into the channel and when tensioned well, are very secure.
