Suspension question w/ TT Cab

I have been reading up on different suspension options for my tt, and PSS9 seems to be the favorite or best all around in a COUPE .

From what I am reading cabs have a lot of flex???

In everyone's opinion those who have been down this road before, What is the best option for a cab???

Thanks, and bear with me if my questions appear niave I am new to the world of mods.. Drove every car I have ever owned bare bones stock...

Put in the porsche roll bar and upgrade the sway bars. That will set you up nice with Pss9s. If you go with the roll bar youy may want to do Motons. The res' look sweet strapped to it, and they are a better set up.

I put PSS9s on my TT cab and it was great. The ride can be adjusted to be smooth and not harsh.

I had the same quandry and went with ROW springs only. I had it set up for a little oversteer through alignment and could not be happier.

For my 05 TT "S" Cab I elected to follow Gert's recommendation (Carnwell) and use the X73 TT Sport Suspension. All that I have read indicates this setup as one of the best all around and a preferred STREET setup. The PSS9 or Moton may be better on the track, but that is not where my car will spend its time. X73 is here waiting for the "S". Hurry up December !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My usage is intended for street use, but as I get more involved with PCA and my local 6 speeders who knows where this will go...

X73 is not adjustable but rather a fixed setting am I correct? If so how low from the stock setting?? Does anyone have any pics of their car lowered with X73?

Have PSS9s with car lowered 1" an have noticed no "flex". Setup has much improved handling and seems perfect for street and track use. Would highly recommend for TT cab.

vin457d, Yes the X73 is a fixed setting, however street settings and track settings will usually be different on the PSS9 and I simply don't track enough to warrant the adjustability. I don't want to fiddle with the settings which others find enjoyable. I prefer a "sport" setting which the X73 provides allowing excellent street behavior, good track behavior and lowering to achieve a more balanced appearance. I also like the lower price from Carnwell as well as the fact that the X73 is a PORSCHE part, not aftermarket. Simple is VERY GOOD for me !

I think Bilstien has a name you can trust as I doubt porsche makes the x73 themselves.

Go with the X73, your ride height will be approx 1.5 inches lower yet approx .5 of an inch higher than a GT2, it is fixed and keeps your car quite streetable, no problems here with street use.
