Speed Yellow or Seal Gray? (post pics to help)
And here's some that I've taken of your car - my own contribution to this thread for Seal Gray:

And another one that was at EPL that day:
I have a dilemma. I currently own:
Yellow Audi S4 Avant ('02, 2.7T, APR Stg3 w/ K04/997 hybrids, 450-550HP) and
Silver VW Golf 1.8T 4Dr ('01.5, GT28R ~300HP)
and I'm shopping for a 996TT. I've always loved yellow cars, and naturally would love a yellow 996TT. Not only does it seem an appropriate color for a 996TT, it's quite possible this is the only time in my life I'll be able to own such a car, and I'll probably kick myself if I don't get it in yellow.
However, I also like White and Seal Grey. It seems white is near impossible to find (with black interior) and if I did, it would probably go for a premium more than I'd car to spend. Seal Gray has always been a color I like as well. It seems more widely available and probably easier to sell in the future (than yellow)???
If I buy a yellow 996TT, then I'd have to sell my yellow S4, because I couldn't own two yellow cars. It'd be a bit too much, plus I'm sure one yellow would make the other yellow look not as good. Whereas if I buy Seal Gray, then I could sell my Golf and keep the 996TT/S4 combo.
However, ultimately if I am able to sell the Golf and the S4 at worthwhile prices, I would consider picking up an Audi A3 to go along with the 996TT. Both of my current cars have high mileage which didn't bother me in the least when I was driving 40k/yr (I actually bought the Golf with 133k on it). But now that I'm doing <20k/yr, I think it would be a good time to reset and start again with some lower mileage cars. So, if I sell both, those colors don't matter - but I'm not so sure they'll sell as they may be worth more to me than someone else.
Any comments or stories of your own are welcome. Or just ignore everything I wrote and post some pics of your Speed Yellow and Seal Gray and let me have a look!
Thanks,
Mark

Yeah... added the Gemballa wing and HRE wheels. Got the car in the shop now for a full Techart body kit sans the wing.

I vote seal grey.
I doubt there's anyway for me to suppress it though
Speed Yellow is a big comitment, and unless heavily modified the car looks soft. Seal Grey is extremely stealth. Depends on the look you are going for..... if you want to be flashy SY if your looking to speak softly but carry a big stick SG!
