I should be out there with SW as well. I think we're bringing my Turbo, his Supra(241.8mph currently), and I think he might bring his GTR or M5 also. We're planning on getting down there on Thursday night and leaving Sunday afternoon, so it looks like we're in it for the long haul.

It really all depends on how fast I can the TT finished up.

Can anyone confirm that this is at the Goliad airport and that it does have an active runway during the event. Staley and I are planning on flying down Sunday.

That would be at least 10 hours to drive from Amarillo to Goliad.

Marty, I've never been to this event. I left a message with the Airport Manager/ Grocery Clerk/ Sheriff to find out if the airport will be NOTAM'd closed for that weekend.

Are you going to make it down for this or the TX2K9?

IIRC the primary runway is open for business. It has been in the past, as others have flown in for the day.

No,

I will be back at some point to break the magic 200 but not this year.
Good luck, it is really worth it to see it and experience it.
Lots of cool, helpful people there (Dont plan on Paulie Walnuts
to do any wrenching on your car though, he will be pimpn 4 deep in the Caddy)
