Steve, I didn't realize it had only been a month since the stroke. From listening to your progress reports, I thought it had been a few months. I would say you have made great strides forward for only 30 days. It probably seems like forever to you, but knowing how long it has taken others to recover, I'd say you are doing fantastic. I have a friend who has never recovered from his stroke that happened about 4 years ago. Unfortunately, he took the attitude that he couldn't recover, and he has fulfilled his own thoughts on the subject. Keep up the good work. You are close to being back to normal.

Sounds, like motivation and persistancy are on your side!! Give your self the time your body needs to recover and keep busting your *** in physical therapy..You'll be driving it in no time.

Sorry to hear. I'm surprised actually that they didn't take any action on your license already. I had a seizure back in November last year, and the CO DMV revoked my driving privileges until 3 months after I was on stable medication. I was just allowed to drive again a couple weeks ago. Every state is different, but I totally feel your pain. Being unable to drive is such a nightmare at times.
